Secondary Programme

Shaping the next phase of our students' learning journey.

Seri Mulia Sarjana today is among Brunei’s leading educational institution attracting local and expatriate students from all around the country.

It provides a holistic education through a challenging academic curriculum that is broad based which develops thinking skills and appreciation for life-long learning. The non-academic curriculum emphasizes on the cultivation of life-skills such as resilience, team work, problem solving and decision making. We continually challenge ourselves to step out of our comfort zone, trying new things that are not the norm but exception.

The curriculum is designed to help our students achieve their absolute best academically as well as developing confidence and a wider understanding of the world around them- enabling each student to go on and take their place as a successful ‘global citizen’.

Whilst the internationally recognized UK-UCLES BGCE ‘O’ level serves as a valuable intermediate benchmark for the majority of our students, those who are academically strong can benefit from engaging in broader learning experiences during their secondary years. Having proven its consistency in producing quality student achievers reflect in our high number of passes in public SPN 21 examination and GCE’ O’ level exam annually. However, the school will continue to have a school based assessments to measure student’s progress.

In order to be the best we can be, Seri Mulia Sarjana School concurrently looks both outward and inward. The staff is routinely engaged in professional development opportunities with the full support and encouragement of leadership teams, and simultaneously review and revitalizes the curriculum in the light of best practice and government agendas.
