Over the last few days, our little Sarjanians have been introduced to a well-loved storybook ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen, and what better way to demonstrate their learning than to go on a little bearhunting quest! On 6th August 2022, they took part in a simulation play activity and experimented with a variety of fun sensory setups based on the book. With their barefoot, they explored each terrain of the story by walking on different texture trails (long wavy grass, ice cubes, and water, thick oozy mud, big dark forest, swirling whirling, and snowstorm) until they found a bear inside a narrow gloomy cave. Everyone had so much fun, and the children got a feel for the different textures.
