‘Sarjanians’ have once again concretized Patriotism in its truest sense when they proudly
waved their flags along Jalan Haji Basir, and at Jalan Sultan Omar Ali Omar Ali Saifuddien
to welcome the arrival of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin
Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien,
Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on Thursday, 23rd February in
celebration of Brunei’s 39th National Day.
The patriotic ceremony was an opportune time for the newly elected SSC Big 8 and other
student officers to kick off their duties and responsibilities as ‘Sarjanian’ leaders. To note
that Patriotism is among the values we inculcate into the minds of our students and our active involvement in National Day Celebrations speaks of our utmost support to therealization of Brunei’s vision.
