Over the next few weeks, our K3 will be starting their new unit called ‘Press It, Click It’. In this unit, they will be learning about different types of household electronics such as microwaves, kettles, televisions, washing machines, sound systems, as well as those that can help us to record and share information such as cameras, recordable pegs, buttons, presentation software, and so on.
The unit kicked off with the introduction to robots. Our inquisitive children took on a role as ‘robot inventor’ where they came to the school dressed as a professor and brought with them their robot inventions. Ooh’s and aah’s filled the room as they showcased their DIY metallic robots to their classmates. This was a great start to their unit and we could definitely see that it has helped to foster their interest in finding out more about other machine!
