Sun, rain, wind, and storms – seems like we’ve had all kinds of weather over the past few weeks. On Thursday, 8th April 2021, the students from Kindergarten 2 were introduced to their new IEYC Unit ‘Weather Wonders’. In this unit, our students will be learning about the different weather, and what better way to kickstart the learning than with a day of fun under the sun! On this day, our students took part in an interclass picnic outdoors. Excited screams and laughter filled the air as our curious learners explored the fun activities lined up such as Water Area, Sand Area, Juice Making Station, Fishing Station, Bubble Station, and the Playground. In their floral Hawaiian outfits and tiny slippers, they eagerly explored each area with their friends.
Also present to help on this eventful day were the honorable K2 Volunteer Parents who graciously lent a hand at the Juice Making Station to prepare luscious and fragrant fruit juices for our children to quench their thirst after a day under the hot sun. It was surely a memorable learning journey for everyone!
