On 2nd March 2019, twelve students from ATOMOS Science Club organised an educational trip to Kingston Beverage and Creamery with the objective of learning the complications and advanced engineering techniques involved in the making of the favourite dessert, ice cream. The students achieved their purpose as the facilitator of Kingston Company explained the process involved in the making of ice cream through a video presentation. Moreover, the students were given the chance to see the advanced machines involved in the packing processes from the viewing gallery. Overall, the visit was very informative and it ignited the students interest to pursue a career in the field of engineering in future.
