Singapore School Visit

The ‘Sarjana’ family warmly welcomed the twenty-five students and five mentors from Junyuan Primary School, Singapore during their visit to Seri Mulia Sarjana School on Tuesday, 4th September 2018.

The visiting team was treated to a short but meaningful programme that showcased talents of Sarjanians through a song number and a Malay dance performed after the warm message delivered by the Supreme Student Council President, Ahmadi Shadi bin Azri Haneef.  The visitors from Junyuan Primary School expressed their appreciation and joy as they happily took photos of the choral interpretation and other performances. The exchange of souvenirs from both schools lighted up and concluded the morning’s welcome programme.

One of the activities during the visit was holding of fun games that encouraged friendship and camaraderie between the students of the visiting school and the SMSS student leaders. The said activity likewise provided the Sarjanians the chance to show the RIGHT values of Respect, Initiative, Global Responsibility, Honour and Teamwork. Furthermore, SMSS student leaders oozed with great confidence as they mingled with the visiting team. To witness how a normal day in SMSS was like, the visiting team was ushered to classroom visits.

As the culture of excellence lives on at SMSS, this visit is definitely not the last but there will be more to come in the future. The school will continue to strengthen its ties with other schools, Local and International, to share our best practices and to acquire more from others as well.
