To celebrate the IEYC unit ‘The World Around Us’, families of the Kindergarten 1 level gathered together at Jubilee Park on the 29th of June to have a fun family picnic. Attended by almost a hundred families, this whole day affair proved to be a success as everyone relished the activities that were set for them to take part of. A Zumba fitness dance opened the programme; with parents, students, and teachers all grooving to the music to get fit and healthy. It was followed by the opening of the following learning stations: Vegetable art stamp, newspaper bag decoration, pebble bug painting, a photo booth, bubble play, kite flying, and the wall of wonders which showcased some of the students’ works in school. The bright and sunny weather complemented the family picnic upon the grassy areas of the park. It was undeniably a fantastic day to spend with the whole K1 Sarjana family!
