Year 3 Sarjana students launched their Nature of Life IPC learning unit with an exciting entry-point activity that transformed them into young explorers. Dressed as adventurers and equipped with binoculars and magnifying glasses, the students roamed the school compound and the nearby mosque area, eagerly searching for various living and non-living things. They observed plants, insects, animals, rocks, and other objects, documenting their findings and discussing their observations.
After the exploration, the students gathered for a lively discussion about the characteristics of living things, such as growth, movement, reproduction, and the need for food, water, and air. Teachers facilitated the session by explaining how each characteristic is essential for life and how to distinguish living from non-living things. This hands-on activity not only sparked curiosity and excitement but also set the stage for deeper learning and exploration throughout the unit.
