A Professional Development workshop on Differentiation was held on 16th of March 2019 at Seri Mulia Sarjana International School attended by SMSIS and SMSS primary and secondary teachers. This activity focused on the areas of teaching methods, classroom management, differentiated teaching and learning, designing learner-centred instruction; student-centred learning and formative assessment strategies.
Cherry Hawker, one of the expert trainers from Dragonfly Training Ltd, conducted the one-day workshop. She completed her validation with the British Council to become part of the international team that delivers the ‘Connecting Classrooms Project. During the workshop, teachers were presented with different tools in teaching which they enjoyed and appreciated. It was indeed an informative day for the teachers.
