Grasping on the heavy statistics of Obesity rate in the country, the year 4 Cemerlang students had their way of finding more about the said relevant issue by listening to a talk conducted by a nursing student from Politeknik Universiti and an Officer from Health Promotion Centre (HPC) – Ministry of Health. The talk was held on Tuesday. 30th July at Seri Mulia Sarjana School, Primary section.
As an extension of their Science lesson on ‘Food, Nutrition and Body Systems’, the confident ‘Sarjanians’ engaged themselves in the interactive and fun – filled activities. Furthermore, they raised questions on Healthy and non – Healthy food, proper diet and the likes. The students’ answers to the challenging questions wowed the facilitators. To add fun to the event, games were played and enjoyed most by the said class of student, who will become ‘No to Obesity’ campaign agents in the future.
Way to go, Cemerlang Class. Carry on with your mission of disseminating information on living a healthy lifestyle!
